ORANGE BALL TENNIS

SESSION DATES: September 2 – December 21 | Exclusion Date: November 27

NCRC is proud to be a fully compliant USTA initiative provider for 10 & Under Tennis—one of the few clubs in New England to have this distinction. Our primary concern is giving each young player the best possible chance to reach their potential at whatever level — high school, regional, sectional, or even national. We know developing potential takes time—this is why we use USTA 10 and Under protocol in our Club Pathway Program here at NCRC.

Orange Crush

Ages 9–10 | $1056.00 / 1x per week

This 60-minute clinic makes it easy and fun to get in the game. Instructors are certified in USTA 10 & Under protocol, using innovative lesson plans to keep your child motivated and energized. Class is broken up into subgroups based on experience. We use low compression balls to facilitate waist-level ground strokes, better topspin, continental grip volleys, and court awareness. Sign up for as many days as you’d like.

Orange Advance

Ages 9-10 | $1056.00 | 1x per week

The Advanced Orange class is designed for players whose NCRC coach believes they are ready to move up from Orange Crush but not to the Green ball. This class is 60 minutes and focuses on mastering technique and strategy. Enrollment in an Advanced class requires approval from your child’s coach at NCRC. NOTE: These classes are not part of the High Performance Pathway and are a good option for advanced players who are not able or interested in committing to the NCRC Academy at this time.

Orange Academy

Ages 9–10 | $3264.00 / 1x per week + Matchplay Match Play Saturday’s 12:30 - 2:00 PM

This class focuses on match play and beginning competition for players in Orange Ball using USTA 10 and Under protocols. Players must be able to serve, rally, and keep score. The program includes 45 minutes of designated fitness training, 1.5 hours of on-court tennis instruction, and 1.5 hours of match play held on Saturdays from 12:30–2:00 PM. Players are required to register for one clinic day and one match play day.
